Pork Belly
This is by far the best tacos, burritos I've ever had! We have tried different items each time we eat here which so far has been 3 within a short time of finding this place and not once have we been disappointed! This place is a gem! Don't forget to finish off your meal with the amazing churros. Personal favorite is pork belly taco and the 20 dollar burrito!!
Pork al Pastor
Food was excellent and the staff was very welcoming and friendly. The salsa that they serve when you are seated is the best I have ever had.
Pollo en Mole
I love Nixtaco! They make the best Mole Pollo burritos & guacamole. I'm thrilled that the flan is back! I can't wait to be back in to have my regular meal! So happy that they are back up and running again! This is one Mexican restaurant you don't want to miss!
Mushroom Taco
As East Bay transplants we found it extremely difficult to find authentic quality Mexican/Oaxacan food in the Placer County area. After many disappointing food experiences we found Nixtaco. We've tried the mushroom, corn, and shrimp tacos as well as house made guacamole, all are excellent. The mushrooms are cooked and seasoned to perfection, the shrimp is buttery and tender , corn flavorful and guacamole as good as we've ever tasted. We are 30 minutes away but we'll make the trek for Nixtaco.
Pollo en Salsa Verde
These are fantastic. Juicy shredded chicken in a tangy verde sauce. So tasty!
Nixtaco Combination
The tacos here are amazing! So fresh and such great flavors. Too many favorites as each taco gives you different flavors and sauces. You have to try them all out!
Octopus
Wow! Peanut Chapoltie sauce, what a great taste, I love it.
Roadkill Quesadilla
It was very good. I was surprised it didn't come with rice and.beans quack mole sour cream
Chicharron
Nixtaco is THE best Mexican food in the Sacramento area. Their tacos are delicious as is everything there. Fantastic beer selections, too. If you haven't been, you're missing out.
Octopus
It was heaven on top of a stone blue blanket. The octopus was cooked to perfection; soft on the interior with a succulent chew on the outside. Fold this in a nutty soft blue corn shell dashed with red, yellow, char sauces and a sprinkle of green onions, the result was a textural wonderland of deliciousness.
